Featured Equipment: Skip Loading Power Barrows

Since the introduction of TCP Hi-T500 Skip Loading Power Barrows to our hire fleet in October 2007 they have proven to be extremely popular. But when you consider what they can do it is not hard to work out why.

Narrow access, good payload

At just 700mm wide the Hi-T500 goes just about anywhere, including through a 2'6" doorframe. It has a carrying capacity of 500kg (200 litres) and can tip to 1200mm - the height of a standard skip. The high tipping linkage design also allows for a full 180 degree discharge of the payload at low level.

Reduced noise and vibration

The Hi-T500 boasts a reduction in noise levels to conform to the 2006 Noise at Work regulations and the ergonomically designed operating position has been independently verified to reduce hand/arm vibration (HAV).

Powerful engine, great performance

Fitted with an electric start Kubota OC95 diesel engine the Hi-T500 has a forward speed of 4kph and the drive and control are fully hydrostatic.
